Janifer Marsh began attending FCC in March after searching for a church for what seems like an eternity. While searching online for a local meeting place of Overeaters Anonymous, she accidently came upon a “new” site – First Congregational Church in Montclair. She clicked on the site and discovered the church was an ONA church, and decided to visit. From that first day, Janifer found the “church family to be warm and loving”. “The ministering that I have received from Rev. Ann and the entire congregation has helped to sate the yearnings of my spiritual-self”. Thank God for the Internet! Jan is the mother of three wonderful adult children and the adoring Nana of four spectacular grandchildren – with a fifth one expected in July! Professionally, Jan has worked at the Veteran Administration Hospital in East Orange for 33 years as an Administrative Officer and Medical Ethicist. She is a lifelong crafter and loves quilting, and she has a passion for cooking and experimenting with different foods and spices.
