JoAnn Whetsell began attending First Congregational Church last summer and has become a part of the congregation in many ways. She was looking for a welcoming congregation that would help her explore her faith and provide a supportive community. She works in social services and lives in Florham Park, NJ. Her first love is writing and she has attended many writers’ workshops and has a published short story entitled “The Coconut Lady” in the literary journal Glimmer Train. JoAnn is a woman of many interests including the arts, animals, literature, mental health issues, cooking and much more! She is looking forward to participating the Peace & Justice ministry of the church.
